- United States Air Force Academy
Nestled against the Rampart Range of the Rocky Mountains, the Air Force Academy was located in Colorado Springs in 1958 as a four year Military Institution designed to create Career Officers. The 18,000 acre campus is home to 4000 cadets. Visit the "Barry Goldwater Visitors Center" - includes a 15 minute video offering insight into every day cadet life and the "Cadet Chapel" - Colorado's most visited man-made attraction!

- Pikes Peak Cog Railway (Seasonal)
World-famous cog train taking passengers from Manitou Springs to the summit of Pikes Peak at a height of 14,110 feet above sea level. This is the sight that inspired Katharine Lee Bates to write the poem/ song "America the Beautiful". The round-trip lasts 3 hrs, 10 minutes.
- The Olympic Training Center
The training ground for the athletes of U.S. Olympic Teams at the United States Olympic Training Center. The complex provides housing, dining, program support services and recreational facilities for up to 600 athletes and coaches and is also the seat of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC).
